Each year we organize international seminars on statistical data analysis for our users and public participants from various industries. These include, business, public authorities, research centres and universities across the world. This seminar will give participants an opportunity to gain more knowledge and to share their insight and experiences amongst other participants. This will be particularly relevant for researchers and scientists using ASReml Software in animal and plant breeding areas.
The seminar this year will have three sessions.
- The first session is the theoretical lecture in quantitative genetics and genomic selection from our professional lecturer.
- The second session is the practical activity which ASReml-R will be used to demonstrate examples of quantitative genetics and genomic selection in the real world.
- The last session will give participants the opportunity to consult individually with our professional lecturer.
The invited professor is a VSNi expert user who has experience in quantitative genetics and genomic selection using many statistical tools such as ASReml, R and other software for practical research works.
All participants will receive ASReml-R licence for 3 months to continue practice their knowledge after training.
